Psychosomatic and psychotherapy

Psychosomatic and psychotherapy
Psychosomatic stands for the interaction of soul and body. When body and soul get sick, they get sick together. A mental illness can lead to a physical illness in different ways. Conversely, a physical illness and the necessary medical treatment can become a burden on the soul. In this respect, every illness has a psychosomatic aspect.

Mental illnesses are often due to our childhood. But even current pressures, be it pressure to perform, an incision into the social network or experiences of violence, often have psychosomatic consequences.

The affected person needs help to recognize relationships and initiate change steps. Only then is he able to leave behind the feeling of helplessness often associated with the disease.

In the Department of Psychosomatic and Psychotherapy with a total of 127 beds we try to support our patients in their psychosomatic illness. Precise diagnostics, competent therapists and a differentiated therapy offer contribute to this.
Dooglas Playa
I am a writer, my wife Denise is an editor. Recently struck down by a brain tumor, I am presently wheelchair bound. I search locations along the shore where I can fly fish Zihuatanejo Bay from the chair.
